Woman arrested for swindling money from many by offering jobs abroad

KATTAPPANA: Police have arrested a woman who cheated many people by taking money from them after offering jobs abroad. The arrested person has been identified as Sindhu Manoj (43) wife of Kozhimala native Manoj. Sindhu was arrested by the police team led by DySP VA Nishad Mon.

Several people had lodged complaints alleging that Sindhu had swindled huge amounts from them by offering jobs in Europe, Gulf countries, Israel and Russia. She committed fraud in Kozhikode, Ernakulam, Kannur, Wayanad and Kanjirappally. The DySP said that the police are conducting a detailed investigation into the case. The accused was produced in court.
