Girl drugged and sexually abused, abandons in Thamarassery Churam, she went missing on Tuesday 

KOZHIKODE: A college student was allegedly drugged, taken to many places and sexually abused. She was later abandoned at the Thamarassery Churam. She was found from there last night.

One person was taken into custody in connection with the incident. The details of him have not been divulged. His arrest is likely to be registered later today. The girl subjected to sexual abuse is a student of a private college in Thamarassery.

The girl was missing since Tuesday.

The girl, who was in the hostel, told them that she was going home. When she did not return, the hostel authorities called home and realized that she had not reached there. Her father then lodged a complaint with the police. The girl was found last night from the ninth bend.
