Soldier and brother assaulted: Suspension of four policemen withdrawn

KOLLAM: The South Zone IG has revoked the suspension of four officers, including Kilikollur CI, in the incident in which a soldier and his brother were beaten up after getting trapped in a fake case. Killikollur SHO K Vinod, SI AP Aneesh, ASI Prakash Chandran and Sr. CPO Manikantan Pillai have been reinstated. The official explanation is that the action was withdrawn as the suspension period has completed seven months. They are likely to be appointed outside the district.
