Conflict: Amal Jyothi management moves High Court

kk

KOCHI: The management of the Amal Jyothi College in Kanjirappally approached the court seeking protection as tension is prevailing in the college following the suicide of a student. According to the petition filed by the manager Fr Dr Mathew Paikatt, activities, including the admission procedures and examination, were getting disrupted due to the strike organised by the student organizations by blocking the entrance gates.

Staff members, including teachers, are unable to enter or leave the institution as a result of the blockade. The petition added that despite several acts that challenged the legal system occurring, the police who were on the scene did nothing.
