Mark list controversy; case filed against five people including college principal and media worker

KOCHI: Police registered a case against five people including the college principal, course coordinator and a media worker in the Maharajas College mark list controversy. Police registered a case of conspiracy on the complaint filed by SFI state secretary Arsho.


The first accused in the case is Vinod Kumar, Coordinator of the Archeology Department of Maharajas College. Principal Dr. VS Joy is the second defendant and KSU State Secretary Aloysius Xavier is the third defendant. Maharajas College student CA Faisal is the fourth accused and Asianet News reporter Akhila Nandakumar is the fifth accused.

It is stated in the FIR that a fake mark list was made to defame Arsho. It is also said in the FIR that the other accused spread this fake certificate on social media. A case has been registered against the accused on non-bailable charges including forgery and conspiracy.
