No black dress allowed, must attend; Instructions for students at the event where Prime Minister will be chief guest

NEW DELHI: Colleges with special instructions for students on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's arrival as the chief guest at Delhi University's valedictory ceremony of centenary celebrations. The ceremony will be held tomorrow.

Zakir Hussain College stated that they will collect the signatures of all the participants in the event and send them to Delhi University. Hindu College announced that additional attendance will be given to all participating students. Students and staff of Hindu College are advised not to wear black clothes. BR Ambedkar College has made participation in the function compulsory. It is also reported that the principals have been instructed to prepare an attendance sheet to check who attended the function. However, severe criticisms are also being raised in the proposals.

Modi will lay the foundation stones of three buildings as part of the ceremony. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will attend the event. The ceremony will also be screened in all colleges under Delhi University. The display will be through screens installed in staff rooms, library and auditorium.
