Ranjith should answer, how can the minister give clean chit before that: Vinayan against Saji Cherian

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Director Vinayan has strongly criticized Minister Saji Cherian's suggestion that Film Academy Chairman Ranjith did not intervene in the decision of the state film awards. Vinayan asked in a Facebook note that Ranjith should answer the allegations and how the minister gave a clean chit before that.

Apart from Nemom Pushparaj, another jury member Jency Gregory has also revealed about Ranjith's involvement. 'The minister should have investigated all that and given a clean chit. The minister was not present during the projection of the films and the discussion. Then how can the minister tell that the chairman was not involved', Vinayan said.
