Tenth class girl pillion riding on mother’s scooter dies after taurus hits vehicle

PATHANAMTHITTA: A tenth class girl died after a taurus hit her scooter. The accident happened at Kochalummoodu Junction on Pathanamthitta Vallicode-Vakayar Road. The dead is Jesna Jaison aged 15, daughter of Jaison of Angadikkal and Sheeba.

The accident happened Wednesday morning at 7 am when she was going for tuition with her mother. The taurus which was coming from the opposite side hit their scooter.

Though Jesna, who fell on the road and hit her head, was rushed to a private hospital in Pathanamthitta, her life could not be saved. Sheeba sustained minor injuries. Jesna was a student of Netaji Higher Secondary School at Pramadom in the district.
