Excise special squad seize drugs in Idukki and Kollam

IDUKKI: The excise special squad seized drugs in Idukki and Kollam. Three people have been arrested. Circle inspector Rajendran K of Adimali Narcotic Enforcement Squad and his party seized 3.1 kg of ganja and arrested two persons. Shaji Joseph of Parathode Kannadipara and Adarsh Babu, a native of Mavoor in Kozhikode were arrested.

Shaji who has more than five major ganja cases in different states, was under the surveillance of the narcotics squad. Shaji is one of the main wholesale dealers of ganja from Andhra. Adarsh is Shaji's assistant in selling ganja.


Kollam excise special squad arrested Adarsh (31) of Vadakkevila with drugs from Mukhathala Naduvilakkara area. 4.355 grams of MDMA and 20 grams of ganja were seized from his car.
