Thuvvur murder: Body found in house premises will be exhumed today, suspected to be employee of Krishi Bhavan, four arrested

MALAPPURAM: Four people were arrested after a body was found decomposed in the premises of a house in Thuvvur. The body will be exhumed today. A forensic team will reach the spot for this. The body was found in the premises of the house of Vishnu, who lives near the railway track near Thuvvur Panchayat office in Malappuram, at around 9 pm last night.

Vishnu is a temporary employee of Tuvvur Panchayat. Vishnu, his two brothers and friend were arrested. The body is suspected to be that of Sujitha (35), wife of Manoj of Palliparambu Mangooth. She had worked in Thuvvur Krishi Bhavan. She was missing from August 11. As part of the subsequent investigation, Vishnu was taken into custody and questioned. He later told police that the body has been buried. However, it has not been confirmed whether the body is that of Sujitha.
