Equidistant in Puthupally; Announcing support to BJP is baseless, says Sukumaran Nair

KOTTAYAM: NSS General Secretary Sukumaran Nair said the news that they announced support for the BJP in Puthupally assembly by-polls, is baseless. He informed this through a statement released by the NSS. He also clarified that the NSS has a politically equidistant stance in the by-elections.

‘The news that came in an online channel that for the first time in its history the NSS has given up equidistant principles and declared support for the BJP in Puthupally is completely baseless. The NSS politically has an equidistant stand in the Puthupally by-elections as well. The NSS workers have the right to believe in their own politics and vote. Therefore, it does not mean that the NSS has given support to any political party', the statement said.
