Lightning strike kills 10 people in Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: Ten people died due to lightning in Odisha. There has been heavy rain for two days in various districts of Odisha. Severe thunderstorms were also reported in many places. Ten people from Khurda, Balangir, Angul, Baudh and Jagatsinghpur districts have died. Three people were injured and are under treatment. As per reports, there has been heavy rain and lightning in coastal areas including Bhubaneshwar and Ghatak in the past few days. The Indian Meteorological Department has warned that there will be heavy rain in the state for the next four days.
