Malayali youth dies after falling from ship in Thailand

KADAMPANAD: A young Malayali ship crewman drowned in the sea in Thailand. The deceased is Siju Monachan (25), son of Kadampanad native Monachan. As per the information received by the family at eleven o'clock last Tuesday, Siju slipped off the ship and fell into the sea. Siju joined the Malaysian company's ship seven months ago. Efforts are on to bring the body home. The funeral will take place later. Mother: Sally.Sister: Simi.
