THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police busted a sex racket that was operating from a rented house at Panickers Lane in the capital city. Police nabbed two people of the team involved in sex racketing via online transaction in a rented house. The Museum police arrested Al Ameen (26) of Pulimath and Lejen (47) of Peroorkada. Police said a woman of West Bengal, was exploited at the house in Panicker’s Lane.

The house was taken for rent for a family to stay. They will send the woman’s picture via WhatsApp to those approaching and will ask them to send the money via online. They will then inform the place and time to come. When they come, the accused will take them to the rented house in their vehicle.

No one had any doubts in the beginning. However, the secret agency got a tip-off about the racketing group from the premises. They were under the observation of a team. The police will investigate if there are any bigwigs behind them. Police said the accused chose the VIP area of the museum police station so that no one will have any doubt.
