Kadamakkudy family's suicide note: 'Never thought of taking kids, but...'

KOCHI: The suicide note of the family who committed suicide in Kadamakkudy is out. In the letter, the writer mentions getting fed up with life and the mounting debt that has tormented their livelihood. It also says that no person is responsible for their decision.

“Nobody came to help us. Never thought about taking kids with us, but there is no need for them to live a life being subjected to shame and torture from others. We reached many people for help but all resented it. Please don’t do any final rites on our mortal remains and save that money.”

According to police, the family was mired in debt not only from online loan apps but also from banks. Their phone has been handed over to the cyber cell for detailed examination. A check will also be conducted to see whether any nude images reached their mobile or not.
