PM Narendra Modi turns 73 today, BJP organizes series of programmes

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 73 today. The BJP has organized elaborate celebrations across the country. Meantime, the Prime Minister has a busy day as usual on his birthday.


The first phase of the India International Convention Center (YashoBhoomi) will be inaugurated at Dwarka in New Delhi at 11 am. A new metro station will then be opened at Dwarka. 13,000 crore 'Pradhana Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana' announced on Independence Day will be presented to the nation today. The scheme will provide collateral-free loans to 30 lakh artisans in 18 traditional industries at an interest rate of 5%. The aim is to improve the quality of traditional products and services and position them in the global market.


BJP has organized various programmes across the country on the occasion of Prime Minister's birthday. Under the leadership of the party, various service activities will continue till October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. Blood donation camps, health awareness and hygiene programmes will be organized as part of this.

The union health ministry will launch the 'Ayushman Bhav' scheme today. This campaign aims to speed up delivery of health schemes to the beneficiaries. The campaign, which will last till October 2, is being conducted in three phases.
