Madhaviyamma passes, without fulfilling her dream of meeting Mohanlal

PALAKKAD: Madhaviyamma (Kuttuamma,​108) of Santhinikethanam home died, leaving her wish to meet actor Mohanlal. She has been a resident of the home under the Chunnambuthara Santhinikethanam Charitable & Welfare Trust for ten years. Madhaviyamma who was lost on the Kunnathurmedu road was brought here by the Janamaithri police.

Madhaviyamma shared her dream of meeting and talking to Mohanlal when Shafi Parambi MLA was a guest at Onam celebrations in September 2017. The MLA introduced her to the outside world through social media after that.

Madhaviyamma, who even highlighted the beauty of Lalettan's beard and nose, took over the social media. She hoped to meet Mohanlal when he came to Palakkad for the shooting of the movie 'Odiyan', but he could not come due to his busy schedule. Due to physical difficulties, Madhaviyamma could not be brought to the shooting location either.

Sister Razia Banu of the trust said that if Mohanlal's movie was on the TV at home, Madhaviyamma would not change it even for a minute, and if anyone changed the channel, she would get angry. She died on Monday morning. Cremation took place at Jainimedu Crematorium.
