Kochi Metro for fans coming to watch ISL; Pay and park facilities at stations

KOCHI: Kochi Metro will run 30 additional services today in connection with the Indian Super League match at Kalur Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Pay and park facilities at Kochi metro stations can also be used to avoid traffic jams.

Those coming from Thrissur and Malappuram side can park their buses and cars at the parking lot of Aluva Metro Station and then travel to the Stadium side by metro. Aluva station has the facility to park 50 cars and 10 buses at a time.

Those arriving on National Highway 66 via Paravur and Kodungallur can park their vehicle in the parking lot near Edapally Metro Station and take the Metro to JLN Stadium Station. 15 buses and 30 cars can be parked in Edapally.

Those coming from Alappuzha and Thiruvananthapuram side by road can reach the stadium by taking the Kochi Metro from Vytila. Those coming from the Kottayam and Idukki regions can use metro service from SN Junction and Vadakkekotta
stations.

There will also be a 50 per cent discount on metro ticket prices from 10 pm onwards. Those who come in the metro to watch the match can buy tickets in advance for their return journey after the match. On all the days of the match in Kochi, the Metro will run extra services till 11.30 p.m.
