27-year-old newlywed youth found hanging in wife’s wedding sari

CHENNAI: In a shocking incident, a 27-year-old newlywedded youth was found hanging in his wife’s wedding sari on the fifth day of his marriage. He has been identified as Saravanan of Chengalpet in Tamil Nadu. The youth got married to Shweta, his relative on September 17.

His relatives came to know about the incident after hearing the screams of Shweta. She ran from the room and fell unconsciously. His relatives then found Saravanan hanging in her sari. The Chengalpet police reached the spot immediately and shifted the body for postmortem.

The two were in a relationship for years. The marriage was conducted grandly. Saravanan spoke to his in-laws last night and talked about his honeymoon plans. His family alleged mystery over the incident and the police are investigating.
