Links with Popular Front: SI suspended

KOTTAYAM: Kottayam cyber cell grade SI, who leaked official secrets of the special investigation team that came to collect information about Popular Front activists, has been suspended. The action is taken against PS Rijumon, a native of Thazhethangadi. Ernakulam Range DIG took action against Rijumon on the basis of NIA's report that the information was leaked. The NIA discovered Rijumon's connection with Popular Front when it interrogated Malayali workers of the organization outside the state. The officials had come to collect the information of the Popular Front workers who are natives of Thazhethangadi. The NIA and the intelligence wing of the police have started an investigation into the incident. Earlier, action was taken against the official of Karimannur station for leaking the information of the Sangh Parivar workers to the Popular Front workers.
