INDORE: Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, and I put on a brilliant performance in the second match of the India-Australia ODI series, which was interrupted in the ninth over due to rain. While Shreyas Iyer showcased his strength by scoring a century, Gill approached a century with 94 runs. After 30 overs, India had scored 210 runs for the loss of just one wicket.
In the second match, Australian captain Steve Smith won the toss and chose to field against India. In the second over, Rituraj Gaekwad was dismissed by Josh Hazlewood.
India won the first match by five wickets and can clinch the three-match series if they win today.
This series serves as the final preparation for both teams before the World Cup. Shreyas Iyer has made a strong comeback after recovering from injury and is proving that he is in excellent form. Suryakumar Yadav's half-century in the last match also provided a significant boost to the Indian management.
