Woman found charred to death in Alappuzha

ALAPPUZHA: A woman was found charred to death at Mararikulam in Alappuzha. She has been identified as Mahilamani (55), wife of Prasannan of Mararikulam Vadakku Devaswom Thayyil.

The body was found outside her house. Initial reports said that she may have set herself on fire after dousing petrol. The police reached the spot and have started the inquest proceedings.
