CHENNAI: After the AIADMK severed ties with the BJP, Tamil Nadu Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin came up mocking the two parties. Udhayanidhi Stalin, who said that both AIADMK and BJP will again contest together in Tamil Nadu, added that one party is a robber while the other is a thief. He also said that the DMK will go on to secure a massive victory in the state in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls even if the AIADMK snaps its ties with the BJP.
"It was K P Munusamy who announced that the AIADMK has severed its ties with the BJP. Irrespective of whether the AIADMK will form an alliance with the BJP or not, it is the DMK that is going to secure a massive victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. You cannot deceive the people. Even the AIADMK workers will not believe this announcement. The cases registered by the ED against your former Chief Minister and other ministers still exist," Udhayanidhi said.
Udhayanidhi said this during a program organised by the youth wing of DMK in Krishnagiri district. "This is not happening for the first time. AIADMK and BJP might pretend to fight but during the time of elections, they will come together again because one is a robber and the other is a thief," he said.
