KOTTAYAM: The suspect, who sold ganja under the cover of a dog training centre, evaded the police and escaped by jumping into the river. Robin George (35) evaded arrest by jumping into a river. A raid was conducted at a rented house in Kumaranallur yesterday following information that cannabis was being sold under the guise of a centre called Delta K9. After seeing the police, he released the dogs and escaped by jumping over the wall.

17.8 kg of ganja was seized from here. After receiving information that he was hiding near Kudamalur, the police reached the spot, but Robin jumped into the river. At the same time, Ronaldo (22) and George (26), natives of Arpukara, who broke into the centre under police guard, were taken into custody. It is indicated that these people kept ganja here.
