Ayodhya Ram Temple consecration ceremony scheduled on January 22

NEW DELHI: The main idol of Rama Lalla (boy Lord Rama) will be consecrated in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple being built in Ayodhya on January 22. The Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Temple Trust will invite the Prime Minister to the function. After January 24, the temple will be opened to the devotees.

Ram Mandir Trust General Secretary Champat Rai informed that 25,000 Hindu religious leaders from 136 Sanatana traditions will be invited to the function. There will also be 10,000 special guests. The ceremonies will last for 10 days from Makar Sankranti on January 14.
