THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Superstar Rajinikanth will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram next week for the shooting of his new film. He is likely to arrive on October 3 and will stay here for ten days. Rajinikanth's film has been tentatively titled as 'Thalaivar 170'. The filming will be held at Vellayani Agricultural College and a house in Shangumugam. This is the first time that Rajinikanth is shooting a film in Thiruvananthapuram.
Amitabh Bachchan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Fazil and Rana Daggubati are also part of the film. Apart from Bachchan, other stars will also come to Thiruvananthapuram. The director is TJ Gnanavel, who gained national attention with his film Jai Bhim. Subaskaran is producing the movie under the banner of Lyca Productions. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for this big budget film.
A strong security system will be put in place as Rajini's arrival will attract fans. Shooting will also be there in Nagercoil and Kanyakumari. The songs of Rajini films Rajadhiraja and Muthu were previously shot in Athirappily.
