'They called me a pervert'; Kaathal heroine Anagha opens up about her bisexual relationship

Anagha Ravi made her debut on the silver screen with the Mammootty movie 'Kaathal The Core’. Before stepping into movies, Angaha was familiar among social media users for her dance videos and reels. ‘New Normal’, a short film in which Anagha starred was much discussed for its unique plot. Anagha played the role of Mammootty's daughter Femi Mathew in the movie Kaathal.

And now in a recent interview, Anagha revealed that she is bisexual and she talked about the girl she is in love with.

“ I am revealing it to make people understand that bisexuality is normal. My father and mother were shocked to learn this and reacted as if it was unnatural. It took them three years to adapt to my ways. And now after watching ‘Kaathal’, my mother told me it is love, it is normal, and she now wants society to accept it” Anagha said.

“I came out as bisexual when I was 16. I didn't know about this then. Later, when this person came into my life, I realized my feelings for her and came to know that it was normal. The girl’s name is Pyari. We had a cheesy relationship during earlier days. I always felt butterflies in my stomach when she passed across me. We are of the same age group so there was no trouble in communicating.”

"I was about to reveal this to my family but they came to know about this very earlier. My friend showed my mother pictures of me with my lover and it triggered some scenes. My family called me names and said it was unnatural. But now, it is all normal and happy."
