14-year-old girl sexually tortured by mother's live-in partner in Delhi

NEW DELHI: According to reports, a 14-year-old girl was horrifically assaulted by her mother’s male friend in North Delhi. The incident happened in Burari area of Delhi. Ankit Yadav (29), a native of Ghaziabad Loni, was arrested. The incident took place on July 23 but only came to light in recent times.

Ankit, who works as a bus driver on a temporary contract basis, has been staying at the girl's house for the past eight years. The victim’s mother had a live-in relationship with the accused and had a son with him.

On July 23, 2023, when the mother was out of the house, Ankit tortured the minor girl brutally and threatened her not to reveal it to anyone. According to police, Ankit continued his demon side of torture for the coming months and threatened to kill the girl if revealed it to anyone.

However, in recent times, the girl stopped talking with her family and remained silent most of the time. There were also many changes in her behaviour which forced her mother to inquire into the matter. The medical examination revealed that the accused had tortured the girl. The mother then complained to the police about the incident.

Ankit was arrested by the police after this. The police have registered a case against the accused for harassment and constant threats. A similar incident was also reported in Surat recently. A 28-year-old man has been arrested in the case of molesting his girlfriend's 13-year-old daughter. Accused Himanshu Vaghela tortured the girl by threatening to kill her mother.
