THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The dire attempts from police to recover the lost memory card in the Mayor involved scuffle has reached nowhere. Police will question all the KSRTC employees who were on duty at the time of the incident. People who were on duty in the KSRTC area where the bus was parked will also be interrogated.

Police are hopeful about getting the crucial information after the completion of this interrogation. All the nearby CCTV footage and road camera footage of private institutions are being collected. In one CCTV camera, the bus driver Yadhu, who quarrelled with Mayor Arya, was seen walking near the parked bus the very next day after the incident.

Just some days back, Thampanoor police took the statement of Yadhu in the memory card incident. Albeit the court instructions, it is learned that the police notice to five persons including Mayor Arya Rajendran and her husband Sachin Dev to appear for questioning will be delayed.

The Cantonment Police has been instructed to send notices only after receiving the instructions of the City Police Commissioner. As of now, Cantonment police have filed two FIRs against the mayor and her family.
