THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The fourth session of the Loka Kerala Sabha will be held from tomorrow to the 15th at the R Sankaranarayanan Thambi Hall in the Legislative Assembly. The inauguration will be done by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. 351 members including representatives from around 100 countries will participate. This includes MLAs, MPs, non-resident Keralites with Indian citizenship, those outside India, those from other states, returned non-residents, non-residents who have demonstrated excellence in their fields, and OCI card holders.
A cultural program will be held at Nishagandhi tomorrow. In the presentation "Exo 2024 beyond borders", the themes of war, invasion, escape, defense and peace will be the central themes. It is designed as a multi-digital performance. The event is also characterized by the appearance of novelist Benyamin as Benyamin.
Film actor and director Madhupal, actors Premkumar, Anoop Chandran, singers Sitara Krishnakumar, Gauri Lakshmi, Rajesh Brahmanandan are leading the show. 70 artists will perform. This two-hour cultural gathering is organized by the Malayalam Mission with the help of Bharat Bhavan. Poet and Director of Malayalam Mission Murukan Kattakada and Bharat Bhavan Member Secretary Dr Pramod Payyannur are doing the concept and presentation.
Loka Kerala Sabha is a public forum to promote community and cooperation of Diaspora Keralites, to integrate diaspora with the state for social, cultural and economic development of Kerala, to give constructive suggestions and to discuss their problems.
