THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Dancer Sathyabhama has been granted bail in the case of abusive remarks against RLV Ramakrishnan. Nedumangad SC and ST Court granted bail. Bail was granted with instructions to appear whenever the police asked. The court also warned her not to commit the same crime again.

Sathyabhama responded that the truth will come out once and has faith in the court. Ramakrishnan's response is that it is a verdict that does not side with the victim and cannot accept the granting of bail.

Earlier, the High Court had rejected Sathyabhama 's anticipatory bail. The court had ordered to surrender. Due to this, she reached Nedumangad SC and ST court along with Adv B A Alur. Arguments were held on the bail application.

The prosecution opposed the grant of bail to Sathyabhama. Ramakrishnan's lawyer argued that the alleged hatred of dusky skin cannot be treated as a trivial case. The accused is a teacher, who made such a remark. The lawyer informed the court that bail should not be granted.

The prosecution also contended that there was a possibility of tampering with the plaintiff and that the accused should be taken into custody. Alur's contention was that the offense was punishable by less than five years and therefore there was no need for detention.

Due to the controversial remark, she experienced many kinds of difficulties in her personal life. The defense also argued that many of the students had drifted away.
