31 people killed as Russian missiles strike various parts of Ukraine; children's hospital collapses

KYIV: As many as 31 people were killed in the missile strikes carried out by Russia, in various places in Ukraine including the capital Kyiv. Several people were injured. The incident happened yesterday morning local time. Two people were killed as a children's hospital collapsed in Kyiv. According to sources, the death toll is likely to rise.

Several people were seen running out with babies. 7 people were killed in another hospital after missile debris fell on them. The Mayor of Kyiv announced that a total of 17 people were killed in the capital city. There were 20 children in the hospital block that was hit by the missile.

Other cities that came under attack were Kryvyi Rih, Pokrovsk, Dnipro, Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. More than 40 missiles landed in regions, including populated areas. Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, who is visiting Poland, responded that Ukraine would retaliate against the attack.
