NEW DELHI: The revised rank list of the NEET UG exam has been published as per the Supreme Court directive. 17 people including one Malayali got the first rank. Srinand Sharmil, a native of Pallikkara Podikkund, Kannur, is the Malayali who won the first rank. The number of students who secured first rank in the first list was 61. There were four Malayalis in this list.
There are 4 people from Kerala in the top 100 ranks. Out of 136,974 people who appeared for the exam in Kerala, 86,713 qualified. The revised rank list was published following the Supreme Court order. The results can be checked at exams.nta.ac.in. With the revised list, 16000 students have lost their chance for medical admission. The Supreme Court had earlier directed to reduce the marks awarded for wrong answers. The Supreme Court quashed the process of considering two answers as correct to a question. The Supreme Court had directed the NTA to publish the revised rank list on Tuesday.
