Arjun Ashokan and Mathew Thomas's car accident during film shoot; Police register case for reckless driving

KOCHI: Ernakulam Central Police have registered a case for speeding and reckless driving in the car accident during film shooting. The accident happened during the shooting of the movie 'Bromance'.

Actors Arjun Ashokan, Sangeeth Pratap and Mathew Thomas were travelling in the a car that overturned. Five people were injured in an accident while filming a chasing scene on MG Road in Kochi. The car was driven by the stunt master of the movie. The accident happened around 1.30 am today.

CCTV footage of the accident was also released. The car went out of control and overturned and hit another car which was in front of it. This car hit the bike of a food delivery boy parked on the roadside. The overturned car moved forward and hit the bikes parked there.

'Bromance' is a film directed by Arun Jose after the films 'Joe and Jo' and '18+'. The film's puja ceremony was held at Kakkanad a few days ago.

The film also stars Mahima Nambiar, Kalabhavan Shajon and Binu Pappu in lead roles and is written by Arun D Jose, Ravish Nath and Thomas P Sebastian. Music is composed by Govind Vasantha.
