Employee of agriculture department collapses and dies while playing badminton

ALAPPUZHA: An employee of the agriculture department collapsed and died while playing badminton. The dead identified as V K Sajeev (53) of Kottarkavu Valuparambu died at the YMCA in Alappuzha. The incident happened Wednesday evening. Sajeev was the driver of Mankamkuzhy district plantation.

Sajeev, who collapsed while playing badminton was immediately taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved. He leaves behind his mother K K Devaki, wife Monsi Mol and children Surya V Sajeev, Kiran V Sajeev and Thejus V Sajeev. He will be laid to rest in the premises of his house Thursday afternoon.
