Wayanad landslide; Nazriya and Fahad donate 25 lakh rupees to CMDRF

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Fahad Fazil and actress Nazriya Nazim had donated to the Chief Minister's relief fund in Wayanad landslides. They made the donation under Fahad and Nazriya's production company 'Fahad Fazil and Friends' donated Rs 25 lakh.

Many celebrities from the Malayalam and Tamil film industry have donated to the Chief Minister's relief fund in connection with the Wayanad disaster. Actor Mammootty donated and Dulquer Salmaan donated 20 and 15 lakhs respectively. Tamil stars Suriya, Karthi and Jyothika collectively donated Rs 50 lakh. Earlier, actor Vikram had donated Rs 20 lakh.

Lulu Group Chairman Dr MA Yusuf Ali, leading industrialist Ravi Pillai and Kalyan Jewellers owner Kalyana Raman have announced financial assistance of Rs 5 crore each. Adani Group has also announced Rs 5 crore. Chief Minister informed that KSFE has donated five crore rupees, Canara Bank has given one crore rupees, KMML 50 lakh rupees, Women Development Corporation Rs 30 lakh and Aushadhi Chairperson Shobhana George has given Rs 10 lakh.
