'8.8.8'; Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are engaged, Nagarjuna confirms

Just hours after speculations, film actors Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala have confirmed their relationship and are engaged. The ceremony took place at 9.42 am on Thursday. The engagement news was revealed on social media by superstar Nagarjuna.

“We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. God bless! 8.8.8A beginning of infinite love." Nagarjuna wrote on X.

It is reported that only a few family members attended the engagement ceremony at Nagarjuna’s residence in Jubilee Hills.

Naga Chaitanya was earlier married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu in 2017 after a long relationship. However, after four years of marriage, the two separated in 2021.

The news of their separation was a great shock to the fans. Both the actors have not yet revealed the reason for the separation. Samantha later turned super active in her career and appeared in many popular series and movies.
