Heavy rainfall warning in Kerala for two days; Orange alert in Ernakulam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian meteorological department has predicted heavy rains in Kerala for the coming hours on Wednesday. Meanwhile, rain is continuing unabated in the landslide-hit Chooralmala, hindering the rescue operations. A temporary bridge in the area has gone under the water.

Orange Alert

Today: Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kannur.

Tomorrow: Kozhikode, Wayanad

Heavy rain in isolated places is predicted in these districts. The Central Meteorological Department defines heavy Rainfall as 115.6 mm to 204.4 mm of rainfall in 24 hours.

Yellow alert
