Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan has announced that he will not be hosting the 8th season of Bigg Boss Tamil. The veteran actor cited his busy film schedule as the reason behind his decision. Now, some reports are claiming that popular actor Vijay Sethupathi is in line to host the 8th season of Bigg Boss. However, no official confirmation has been made in this regard, leaving fans in suspense.

According to reports, Vijay Sethupathi will get a remuneration of Rs 1 crore per episode. The host will visit the contestants on Saturdays and Sundays. There will also be some special episodes. Bigg Boss Tamil started in 2017. Kamal Haasan, who was the host for all seven seasons of Bigg Boss Tamil, had charged a whopping remuneration of Rs 130 crore to host the seventh season. With Kamal Haasan's departure, Bigg Boss is poised to enter a new era with a fresh host.
