'Going to tell you something new about Nivin case' ; actor Bala responds

Actor Bala has come up in support of star actor Nivin Pauly over the complaint filed by a woman alleging sexual misconduct from the actor. Bala praised Nivin Pauly’s late-night decision to hold a press conference and commended the actor’s catchphrase from the interview; ‘I won’t run away and I will be here to fight this legally’.

Bala:

“I will tell something that you people don’t know. Here, somebody is raising allegations against someone. It is not Nivin Pauly’s duty to prove his innocence but the complainant has to prove the veracity of her allegations. That is the law. The onus is on the complainant. If that is not the case, anybody can accuse anyone in Kerala.

These things are going to backfire legally. Nivin said that he would go to any length to prove his innocence. So the case will be settled. Nivin also expressed doubts about conspiracy in the allegations. I know the truth behind that. Conspiracy and blackmailing exist in the industry. Even I received a phone call once and the attempt was to blackmail me. I handled it coolly and the person ended the conversation saying it was all a joke.

The Nivin Pauly case was brought at a time for some real criminals to escape.”
