Zomato delivery agent carries daughter to work, lauds for his sincerity

NEW DELHI: A linked in post of Starbucks employee about a Zomato delivery agent, who came to pick up an order, has gone viral. The post was shared by Devendra Mehra, manager of Starbucks Store manager at New Delhi’s Khan Market.

Sonu, a Zomato delivery agent came to the store to pick up the order with his two-year-old daughter. Sonu regularly goes to work with his daughter. Sonu, a single parent, works hard day and night due to his hardships at home. Sonu's commitment and care for his daughter is an inspiration to others.

Devendra in his post said the child was given babyccino to make her happy. In the post shared by Devendra Mehra, he said Sonu shows the will of a man who moves forward with vigor despite hardships. He also shared a picture of Sonu with his daughter along with the post.

Zomato also commented below the post. We will convey your compliments to Sonu and the sincerity shown by workers like him in their work is admirable, said a comment.
Comments said the response from Starbucks was great, but it was not necessary to share the picture on social media. There are also comments that Zomato should help the education of workers' daughters.
