Late night ride ends for Thiruvananthapuram's infamous BMW car

SREEKARYAM: Police and Narcotics Special Squad seized 5.5 grams of MDMA from a rented house in Avukulam, near Powdikonam. The rare MDMA was seized from a Kovalam-based youngster, now living in a rented house owned by a Thrissur native.

The youngster was doing the covert drug business while living along with his family. The arrested youth is a technician at a mobile phone repairing firm in Pattom. His work style includes travelling in an opulent BMW across the city during the night to sell the deadly drugs to his customers. It was just four months before the family moved to the rented house from Kovalam.

At the same time, Kochi City Police took three persons including a woman into custody with MDMA. Anju Krishna, a native of Thiruvananthapuram, KA Alex, a native of Thrikakkara, and Hashir, a native of Edavanakkad, were arrested. Police seized 23.08 grams of MDMA and 54 grams of ganja from them.
