Top trending on YouTube; 'Manasilayo' fever spreads across social media

Malayalam actress Manju Warrier shaking a leg with superstar Rajinikanth has taken social media by a storm. The song from the movie 'Vettaiyan' directed by TG Gnanavel has already secured the top spot of the trending list on YouTube.

The lyric video of the song 'Manasilayo' was released on YouTube the other day. In the first two hours of its release, the song was viewed by more than 10 lakh people. Despite the superstar's power-packed performance, it was Manju, garbed in a red saree with coolers, who stole the show. The music is by Anirudh Ravichander.

The song has been sung by Anirudh, Malaysia Vasudevan, Yugendran Vasudevan and Deepti Suresh. Lyrics are composed by Super Subu and Vishnu Edavan.

'Vettaiyan' is Rajinikanth's 170th film and is produced by Subaskaran under the banner of Lyka Productions. Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati are the other main stars. Manju Warrier, Dushara Vijayan and Ritika Singh are the heroines. Rajini had been in Thiruvananthapuram for the shooting of this film. The shooting took place at Vellayani Agricultural College and a house in Shankhummukham.
