Body of woman missing from Kadavanthra found, suspected to have killed and buried

KOCHI: The body of the woman missing from Kadavanthra has been found. The body was found from the premises of a house at Kalavoor in Alappuzha. The body is that of Subhadra (73) from Kadavanthra. She went missing on August 4. The police have arrested one person in connection with the incident.

An investigation conducted focusing on her mobile phone, she was found to have reached Kalavoor lastly. The police were conducting an investigation on it for the past one month.

The search was based on the information that the body was buried in the premises of a house in Kalavoor. The preliminary information is that Subhadra was killed and buried by a man and a woman staying together. There is information that they traveled together. It is believed that they stole Subhadra's gold and after this they severed ties.

They got close again and Subhadra was called to their house in Kalavoor, then is suspected to have killed and robbed her gold. The two suspected to have murdered her is absconding.
