People from film industry behind sexual complaint; suspects conspiracy, says Nivin Pauly 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actor Nivin Pauly came forward suspecting conspiracy on the sexual allegation raised against him. In his complaint to the crime branch ADGP, Nivin Pauly clarified that that he suspects people from within the film industry behind the allegation. He filed the complaint directly at the crime branch headquarters.

After the release of the Hema Committee report, many people, including actresses, came forward with sexual allegations against actors and directors. Nivin Pauly's name was also heard along with it. The allegation was that he sexually assaulted a woman at a hotel in Dubai after offering her chance in a film. However, on the day the allegation was raised, Nivin denied it and informed to take legal action against her.

Vineeth Srinivasan, producer Visakh Subramaniam, actress Parvathy Krishna, actor Bhagat Manuel and others came forward with evidence saying that the allegations in the complaint are false. Nivin has now come forward with a complaint.

Crime Branch ADGP H Venkatesh heads the special investigation team. Nivin lodged the complaint to him. Nivin in his complaint said the sexual harassment complaint against him is a conspiracy and that he is innocent in the incident.
