Is Rahul Gandhi getting married; bride is MP having Kerala connection

NEW DELHI: Speculations are rife on the marriage of senior congress leader Rahul Gandhi. The latest we hear is that the opposition leader is getting married to former home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde’s daughter Praniti Shinde. The news was heard earlier also. Social media users are now uploading the old pictures of the two together.

Praniti is considered as a rising star in the Maharashtra Congress. She represented the Solapur constituency in the Lok Sabha and won thrice from the Solapur City Central seat in the Maharashtra Assembly. Praniti is presently the working president of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee. She took charge of it in 2021. Praniti is also a part of the screening committee for Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) assembly elections. An alumna of St Xavier's College in Mumbai, Praniti was first elected as an MLA in 2009.

The two were first seen together in Maharashtra during Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra. The news of their marriage was first heard when pictures of the two surfaced. Praniti was given charge of Amaravati region. The two were photographed holding hands and this had gone viral. Meantime, the two has not responded to the rumours.
