Diya Krishna, daughter of actor and BJP leader Krishnakumar, recently tied the knot with Ashwin Ganesh, a software engineer from Tirunelveli. The couple, who had been in a long-term relationship, held their official wedding ceremony in Thiruvananthapuram last week. However, in a surprising revelation, Diya shared on Instagram that the two had actually been married for over a year.

"Our official wedding took place on September 5. But last year, we made a vow to each other that no matter what happens, we would always stand by each other. This was our little secret that the world didn’t know," Diya disclosed in a heartfelt video.

In the video, Ashwin can be seen tying the traditional 'thali' around Diya’s neck and applying sindoor on her forehead in front of a temple. Diya is dressed in a pink saree, and the clip was captioned, "Our little secret."
