KOLLAM: The incident in which a native of Nilamel drowned in the Kallada River has been proven to be a murder. Police have arrested Manoj (40), a native of ESM Colony in Kulathupuzha, who killed Mujeeb (35), a native of Nilamel, by pushing him into the river.

Police report:

Mujeeb and Manoj were sitting with their friends in two groups at Kulathupuzha Neduvannur shore of Kallada River at around 9 am on Sunday.
