CHENNAI: The wife of renowned singer Mano has come out alleging that her sons have gone missing. The singer's sons are accused in the case of assaulting two persons, including a minor child. In her complaint, Mano's wife Jameela alleged that her sons were kidnapped by an unknown gang. CCTV footage of her sons being attacked by a gang has also come out.

On September 10, Mano's sons, Shakir and Rafi, were talking to some friends near the house in Sri DeviKuppam in Valasaravakkam when they got into an altercation with a man named Kripakaran, who had come to a nearby restaurant to collect a parcel. This eventually resulted in a fight. Following this, Kripakaran lodged a complaint with the police alleging that Mano's sons and friends attacked him. Although Valasaravakkam police registered a case and conducted a search at Mano's house, it was found that Shakir and Rafi had gone into hiding.

In the meantime, Jameela filed a complaint alleging that an unidentified group broke into her house, attacked her sons, and stole valuables and jewellery. She also released video footage showing her sons being assaulted by a group using stones and bricks on the very same day. Jameela told the media that there are more videos of her sons being attacked by the accused. She also claimed that her sons were the real victims in the case. She urged the police to find her sons immediately.
