THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Malayalam's very own Madhu Sir is turning 91 today. "I don't have the habit of waking up in the morning. Someone will wake me up for my birthday and I will get angry. How can I show anger to the face of my birthday wishers? I'll just stand there smiling... " Madhu sir laughed.

I was busy when people called yesterday to wish me. Birthdays will come and go... I'll be here. They're all celebrating... I'm just joining them... That's all.

He will have his birthday sadya with his relatives today. He doesn't like to celebrate. "He is joining us for our happiness," said his daughter Uma.

Madhu sir sat in front of the TV to watch the latest OTT film Nanakkuzhi at 12 am on his birthday night. "I saw Turbo and Thalavan the other day. My desire to act is over. However, if a character suited for my age comes along, if I feel the script is good, I will act."
